can you use this with your current barrel? it seems like you can but just did seem right even though they are the same size diamiter bullet also has anybody used these before?http://www.cheaperthandirt.com/ARR059-21126-1884.html

Oly has one that you tap an insert into the barrel chamber which turns it into a .22lr chamber.

The olympic arms kit looks like this one too. That piece on the end that looks like a .223 casing inserts into the barrel chamber.

Looks like the Cenier kit. Works great. Can sit all afternoon with a brick of 22 and not worry about "Ka-CHING"!!!

It's easy to install. Just remove the bolt carrier and put it in. Takes about as long as you can push out an push in the take-down pin.

Just run a .223 through it after if possible to clean out the gas system.

If you pick up a conversion kit, I suggest one of those Black Dog Machine 30 rounders. Slick piece for the money. Haven't heard of but a few problems with them.

the one posted from cheaper than dirt is a ciener kit
they can be found at a lot of places (if they are instock)
brownells / midway / etc

google ciener..
brownells is the cheapest when in stock with a 03 FFL at $115.

dont ever pay the extra money for the 30round mag.. or buy a ciener 30round

get the blackdog machine 30 rounders
they have them for 24 bucks right now

ciener kit was my best gun purchase ever.. soo much fun and cheap.
walmart federal bulk 550 rounds at 10.50 work great.

yes u can...ciener bolt does not cycle back into the stock tube.
because of the shorter cycle and lower recoil of .22.. the bolt cycles within itself

Yep. You just replace the bolt carrier and bolt with the kit. It comes with a buffer spring built into the conversion bolt carrier.

bmd 30 rounder

i have to adjust my front site up 5 clicks and oddly enough my rear to the left 6 clicks for it to be on at 10-40yrds
got my ciener at the end of aug.. have about 2000 rounds through it..
