Well, I started assembling my AR a few days ago, and the bolt catch buffer was too big. Stupid me, I got it jammed in there and I went to get it out with needle nosed pliers, they slipped and jammed it down in there (almost flush).

How should I go about removing it? I've got another buffer and spring from DPMS (I didn't want to try M1S again in case their part size is off or something), so if I destroy this one I'm not gonna be heartbroken. Would drilling it out be okay? Thanks guys.

Well, got it out via Mr. Black & Decker. The part was definitely out of spec, the DPMS one dropped right in.

Guess now I know not to just brute force everything:oops:
