OK, from everything I've read, they say bushmaster mags are junk. Any ideas for replacements? Or should I just put new followers in my Bushy mags?

For starters get some Magpul followers for your Bushy mags that will help them and some new springs. For new mags I highly recommend Magpulls P Mag and HK magazines. The PMags are cheaper by far than the HK mags though.

I traded off my Bushmaster mags for a Don Hume holster. I use the Magpul P mags now and have had no problems out of them. Ordered some more from here. Lowest prise plus free shipping.

I saw your list of guns you are set up to shoot three gun if you wanted. You should give it a try.

Magpul look really good, but I like the regular old aluminum GI type. TAPCO has C Products brand for $10 right now which is good price. I have 2 C Products mags and they work as good as my OKay brand.

CDNN has a deal on HK mags right now, I think they were running $30 as opposed to the normal $50. I never thought the HK mags were worth their asking price. I bought 4 the other week off a guy for 20 a piece. And they are really nice. I wouldn't pay $50 for them but if you get them for the cheap they are the way to go. I will only use these in matches though. They look like they can take being dropped in the sand and on the rocks alot better than the gi issue one.

I like my CProducts stainless steel mags.

How would I go about finding that in my area? I would like to give it a try. Sounds fun.

Go here and type in your zip code under find a club. USPSA does three gun matches.

My Bushmaster mags work great in my Bushmaster. My aluminum unknown brand mags work great. Same for the steel mags. My cheap Stoner mags work fine. Maybe my Bushmaster, and it's mags, forgot to read the internet.

I think it's more that the Bushmaster followers can tilt pretty easily.

My C-Product and Colt mags work fine for 3 gun but I am not sure I would trust the Bushie mag with my SD 223 ammo.

My C-Product mags were cheap and they have good followers.

HK, Period.

Magpul P-MAG

I love em

i remember reading somewhere that p-mags should only be used for range/practice, and should not be relied upon in a combat situation...if that's true, i'm surprised pat would recommend them at all! i bought some ss c-products mags with magpul followers for under $10 a pop and they run flawlessly. for my non-combat purposes...

Carfeful, those may be the old pre-july 07' upgrade mags they're trying to dump. Check the date code on them.
G
It has 7/07 on them.

If you do end up with Pre-July '07 mags, Magpul will swap out the bodies for free.

So if you find a screaming deal on old ones, buy them and get the new bodies from Magpul.
