Should be in the AR room, but you can get a complete Stag with 6 pos. stock from Del-Ton for $225. That is a great lower for a great price for any lower, high quality or not.
G
opps i didnt look for an ar room
my bad hopefully they will move it
G
essential arms sell their stripped lowers for $77 and they are of good quality.
G
Ameetec complete lowers are going for $200.

I have two Stag lowers and am happy with them. Got them from LAN world for $105 each. Had to also buy a LPK for each.
G
ok i ended up getting a superior arms lower that has a trigger adjustmant screw to shorten the over travel
ok how much does the lower have to do with the overall accuracy of the gun?
G
None, its just a trigger. You can lighten trigger which will help your accuracy.

On the lines of a cheap lower, I am looking between an Olympic or Stag. They are virtually identical in price, which one should I go with?
G
Stag!

STAG has a better rep
G
do they make one in 308??
STAG has a better rep
G
Honestly, I'm not sure, but Pete could tell ya. I haven't been on the look out for a .308 AR because I have a different preference in .308 semi-auto rifles, I lean more to the PTR-91's and HK91 series. One of these days I'll actually think about a .308 AR, just haven't hit that need yet.
G
AR15s don't come in .308 because they won't fit in the magwell. If you want a .308 semi-auto in an AR platform, you'll be looking at the AR10. Be warned, it's more expensive than an AR15, and you have a smaller selection of parts.
