I hope this is not a re-post but I was wondering what tool do you guys use to clean the carbon from the bolt and bolt carrier? I've been using just a dental pick & brass scraper but if there's a better or easier way to do the job I'm all for that. (Work Smarter, Not Harder):)

Thanks for the info but right now I'm looking for something a little cheaper, I don't care about it taking too long as long as it is efficient when it comes to cleaning the carbon. Maybe later this year I can look into the ultrasonic cleaners.

In that case you can look on midway or brownells for a carbon scraper. I never used one but it's a tool specifically for scraping the carbon from a bolt carrier.

Before i had my ultrasonic I just used solvent, a toothbrush and CAREFUL work with a dental pick. I didn't want to scrape the chrome off that one.
