I'm thinking about using some tax return money and picked up a CMMG bargain bik AR15. I've been reading good things about them. My question is does anyone know a dealer to use in Austin, TX? Can I just email a dealer and ask? I'm not sure how to go about this.

one good way to find a dealer:

goto gunbroker.com and look up your state for FFL's into doing transfers - they have a great list

... for myself and my buddies. They were all like NEW when they arrived! Do a search on ar15.com, there's pages of good reports on them. Ours all came marked DPMS (they make parts for them and other companies). Id say they are one of the best deals going!

+1. My brother wants an AR so I will probably get him a CMMG.

i ordered 6 total...and all of them were DPMS lowers and were perfect....one of them had some different handguards on it but other than that they all looked the same. Defintely a good deal for a starter AR

You could also call CMMG and find out who they already have on file, then call those dealers to find out what the fees are going to be.
