H-bar stands for heavy barrel. The OD of the barrel under the hand guards is not truned down like a government profile barrel.

keep it locked up, and keep it on a leash. those evil things have a habit of getting free on their own and creating terrorism by killing masses of people

The barrel in the pic looks not to be.

However, a H-bar can come threaded or not like most any AR barrel. (not sure if that was your question.)

Good looking rifle, I would consider threading the end of the barrel and install a vortex or similar flash hider.

if I was beating down doors clearing rooms and shooting at night I would:D .
for the shooting I will be doing it is just right for coyotes and those evil paper targets.

funny my first M16 didn't even have a fwd asst on it and the A-2 I got issued before I retired was a tack driver.

I have 2 of them very similar to yours except mine are pre ban's and the barrel is threaded and flash hider is not pinned or welded on. By Sat. of this week one of them is going to reside in TireFryers safe. How much did you have to give for it if you don't mind.

don't know about the scope yet.I have a weaver K-6 and a leupold 3-9 I am not using.I guess I have to look and see what mounts or rings are needed.
for the price well $850.00 +tax with 100 rd's of ammo.

Just Tacti kool right... Unless you threaded it for an Advance Armament M4-2000. Then it would be both tacti kool & accurate..:D Then the neighbors won't complain when you take down the coyote near the house or other animals.

I think after I wear:D this barrel out I'll get a 24" SS match/varmint heavy barrel.not into the kool stuff I guess.I get a kick at the guys at the range with their M-4's that look like a swiss army knife and spray away:D .

better get to shootin then, it'll pry take 60k rds to wear it out, that's alot of ammo:p
