Hey guys. Question for you. I live in NY and am getting a pinned stock sent to me. I was just wondering if I would be able to "de-pin" the stock and set it to a length that is comfy for me then "re-pin" it so Im in compliance with the ban.

Is that even possible?

Would that be allowable if the overall length of the rifle is within the rules (the length escapes my mind at the moment)?

Thanks.

Jay

Shure its possible, most of the pinned stocks are held in place with a roll pin through the latch mechanism so if you were to drive out the pin readjust the stock to a comfortable position, there are no positive locking detents so you will have to try to get it to a comfortable position before redrilling the tube, and repin it. Look the stock over good before trying this the only one I did was during the ban and a Bushy so differant manufacturers may be doing it differantly.
