That's a "less than lethal" reticle.

Though I've never used an Eo with that reticle, I don't think I'd like it as much as the standard circle dot. At least on an AR.

Yea I saw that reticle in the EO demo but why do they call it "less than lethal?"

Don't know why they call it less than lethal, but that reticle is not really designed with small shoulder fired weapons in mind.

Copy and Paste from L3's FAQ page:

less lethal launching platforms (both 37 and 40 mm) as well as shotgun applications involving bean bag rounds, rubber bullets, and deployment of gas munitions. Other applications include medium caliber (.50) machine gun weaponry, shoulder mounted rocket launchers, and grenade launching platforms.
