What do you use? I was looking into the HKtype sights but they are almost 250 bucks from the one place i found that carried them (sorry lost the website after i saw the price).

SO -

I have decided on standard AR sights. Which ones are the most common, or least expensive. if they flip up and down, lock in place well, and adjust similar to standard sights (or easier) lemme know!

thanks!

I use the ARMS#40. I like it a lot. It's not low profile, but ARMS does make a low profile version. I didn't need it since my rig is a CQB with a red dot.

I use to use a LMT rear sight, it's great!

Now I use an ARMS 40. I like it too, and it's easier when using a Aimpoint Comp.

I would go cheap on the plastic mods if you need to. In my book somethings you can't afford to be cheap on. Sights of course are one of them.
Plus the Co-Witness with them is awesome and they are Tacti-Cool which is the most important for the Mall Ninja type.:p

The rear sight is down in the first photo. Colt 6920

Double checked, mud - and I believe your assertion is incorrect. It was properly installed in the original pic.

Here's another pic (not my rifle) for the original poster with an EoTech

I had it on & off so many times when I first got it (like a kid)...I thought you were correct. But I went back and looked, and I believe it's correct as originally shown.
Yes JD it is on correctly; I have the exact same unit on my LMT. On the front left side of the unit there is an arrow pointing to the forward position.

Way to change out the photo and your reply to make me look like an ass.

Your old photo was incorrect. I was trying to help you, but you go ahead and be the better man.

I have one also, and its on the right orientation.

I hope you're kidding, or else you've made an ass of yourself here. There's no way (as far as I know) that I can manipulate my photo that's in your quotation. Once you've quoted using my photo, I'm locked out from changing your quoted material. I wasn't trying to be mean spirited in my reply. And in fact, I first replied stating that you were correct. Then I actually checked my current configuration and found that you were wrong.

And to further prove the point, the same photo was posted here:

Again, note that the photo is identical.

If you were kidding, no problem here. But if you were serious, I think you owe me an apology...however, I don't expect it.
