Anyone use the green lasers? Are they any better than a red laser? Are they more visible during the day? Are they a "must" a "nice to have" or "just another thing to hang on a rail"?

Green lasers are more visible period.

They are at the center of the visible spectrum of light, thus allowing for better vision by the humane eye.

I had one last year - no longer do.

It was useless indoors at closer than 10 yards. It will luight up a room like a light. U can see the beam. And, the one I had was so bright that it hurt my eyes just looking at the dot on the wall indoors at distances less than 25 feet or so.

Now outside - U could see the dot in bright sunlight at 100 yards...

I have two, neither mounted on a firearm. They are very easy to see in bright sunlight. At night they project a visible beam so if concealment is an issue you might wish to take that into consideration. As far as being too bright at close distance one of mine is, the other isn't. It all depends on the power factor, i.e. the mW rating. My weaker one is 5mW and the stronger one is 15mW. I bought them on Amazon, by the way.
