We traded in his Beretta M9 with about 900 rounds through it for $375 credit towards a new Rock River Arms 5.56mm AR. I don't know the exact specs, but it had a chrome moly barrel, the adjustable M4 type stock, and a weaver rail at the top and no rear sight. The AR was $829. I thought we got a pretty good deal considering we bought his M9 for $420+Tax New. It looks like the bottom one without the quad rail handguard. What do you guys think?

Thats really not too bad. You'll have to update us on the accuracy of it. I've got no real experience with RRA. All my AR's are DPMS.

Okay, except for a chrome molly barrel at that price. The main point is you have one and to that I say congrats.

Let us know how well it shoots.

Next time though...
RRA upper as shown with chrome lined barrel for ~ $450.00 or less. New RRA stripped lower $120 - $130 OTD or less, 6 position collapsable stock $45, lower parts kit $60 OTD or less.

Total with chrome lined barrel: $685 or less. Enough left over for a quad rail and a BUIS if $829 is your budget.

Thanks guys! Red02Deuce, can you show me links to some trusted websites to purchase these parts from when its time for me to build my own RRA AR?

Careful BRD has been known to drain the wallet.
