Well, I slammed a 3-9 on her carry handle Saturday. Figured while I am on a roll, I will fix the crappy grip. Ended up going with the ERGO 4000SG, the right-handed sure grip model. Anybody have one of these? Like? Dislike? I have heard good things about them.
I love Ergo grips except I go with the ambi models. I practice shooting left handed around cover so for me a right handed only grip is not a good idea.

I shoot all of my handguns with a pretty high grip and tend to high grip my RRA AR-15. It came with a hogue ergo grip and while it feels good, I never seem to grip it where they want you to. I may end up changing it out but go for what works best for you.
I have the ergo ambi grip. Totally agree with practicing with both hands.
For some reason I like the texture of the ergos better than the hogue. I guess it feels more like the HK416 grips I've handled in the past.
I love this forum... we should all lobby for an AR15 forum like PackerFanXD's recommended...
I can't get use to this grip. I feel like I'm not able to get a consistent grip on it each time. I need the little extension up front on the grip to index how my hand sits on it. So I put the normal grip back on.
I prefer the Hogue grip to all of them. It's got the original profile but with a soft, overmolded texture. The fact that it's one of the cheapest aftermarket grips is just a bonus.
Got the grip in the mail today, and she is hanging on the CAR right now. It is an excellent fit in my hand (I got big paws, and it is a little larger than the A2 grip I had on it). I do wonder how well the rubber coating will hold up, though, and I put the damn thing on before I found the gapper in the bottom of the bag :x
