Thanks, ronrod. Nice for sharing the info. Those appear to be Taiwan mags instead of USGI. But still at that price it's a deal. I have several Taiwan steel mags that I carry in the range bag permanently because they function flawlessly. The steel surface actually feels much nicer than the dry film mag.

Also check these guys out:

The CProducts mags are quite good. I buy them and stash them.

You can get them for $8.00 flat around here, and you can buy one.

edit: but they are POS's !

Anyone want to link to a little tutorial with pics? I haven't heard this before...
Or are there any individuals that offer Beretta 92 magazine to XD9 magazine conversion services?

(hint hint you talented machinists out there);)

USGI mags can be had for around $10 each. Why go to an inferior product to save a couple of bucks?

Make sure to check ARFCOM Equipment Exchange. Two months ago I picked up 30 NIB US GI Okay Ind mags for $8.50 each. The guy had several hundred and was dumping them. I put MagPul followers and Ranger Tabs on each of them.
