Does anyone have a Magpul CTR stock for their AR? I'm looking at getting one the mil-spec w/o buffer tube is $95. This would finish my AR with the exception of the weapon light. I've read the reviews on ARFCOM just wanted to see if anyone here has one.

I plan on getting one for my SPR build. Then will switch it out whenever the new UBR stock comes out. If it comes from Magpul, you can rest be sured that it is good stuff. Did you see the new Magpul polymer mags with a see through window? I think I am going to have to pick up a couple of those too. lol

The Magpul polymer mags looked cool. I might have to pick one up and try it out. I think I'll go ahead and order the CTR stock. I have to wait until the end of the month though.

This was my first one, and I have since added 2 more. I love them. They are as tight as an A2 stock, and they are very light. I would highly suggest them.

I've got one, I like it a lot. It locks up WAY tighter than any other stock I've seen. When it's locked up, it's as tight as a fixed stock. I recommend it.

I like mine, CT laws suck because mine is pinned, cant move it. I just bought 10 flat dark earth pmags for it.

To me the CTR stocks with no tube and buffer should not be more than $60. Don't get me wrong, they are great stocks that fit tight and offer a better cheek weld than a traditional M4 stock, but they are not really anything special. They have no compartments, and unless you pay extra, they also do not have any sling swivels, nor a buttpad.

At the end of the day, a traditional M4 butt stock will get the job done just as well as a CTR.

Ebay has them for much cheaper than that just make sure you get one for a rifle not an airsoft.

I agree they are a little pricey (nothing compared to the UBR) but I love my CTR. I prefer it quite a bit more than the M4 stock.

Love the windowed PMAGS as well.

DON"T USE EBAY

we will hunt you down, and spit at your feet, ebay is evil

that being said I was at a gun show and got to hold one, they are amazing, if I ever get around to building an AR that is what I would get for all but a 24" barrelled sniper.

I have CTRs on every AR I own, even my 20". They are, IMO, the best stock you can put on an AR. They lock up tighter than a crab's ass, look awesome, and don't have little trap doors and stuff all over them, which I like. Some people need storage, I don't. If you like simple, get one, you won't be disappointed.;)
