Here's some gun porn for you guys!! My ML2 and GG&G mount came today! Some of you've probably seen these photos on the "Post to Increase Your Count" thread, but here they are for the rest of you guys. ;) Oh yeah, I first mounted it at the far forward end of the upper, and now I moved it back to the spot in the pictures. Trying to decide which I like best. I kinda think I like the closer position...any suggestions, Do's or Don'ts?

Thanks again for the advice and help.

Alright, I'm starting to realize I need some sort of combat style rifle as my next purchase. XD is out of the way, the 1911 will be here next week, and I need a new goal.

Yeah man, you gotta get on this. Building my AR was one of the best things I've done so far...it's my pride and joy! After I assembled it that first night, I snuck it into bed with me and my wife. She had NO clue it was there, and remained clueless for a long time. When she found it she laughed, but told me to kick it out of bed. I think my wife slept on the couch that night...

Um, I like my AR and all, but that is taking it way too far. I hope for god's sakes you didn't try to violate your rifle son. I know they say to run it wet, but damn that is taking it too far! LOL

My suggestions are....move it forward so that the base of the mount is toward the front of the rail. Then twist the flip caps so they fold down out of your field of view. :)

Looks good
