Well, I finally got one. And of course I could not wait to start doing some customizing to it. I put on a Sure Fire rail, C.A.A. stock, and a Magpul Grip, and 2 Mugpul 30 round mags. I have an EOTech for it but did not like the co-witness with the iron sights so I'm waiting for the A.R.M.S. mount to come in so I can mount it on the carrying handle. I also have a Sure Fire Vertical Forgrip on the way. Here is a few pics for yall.

Very Nice. I like it very much. Although, this is a little too nice for your first AR...send it to me and we can find something else that suits your needs a little more closely. :D

I really like that CAA stock. One of the nicer collapsibles I have seen. Great choices all 'round. Great looking gun. Congrats!

Nice :D

BUT

"I have an EOTech for it but did not like the co-witness with the iron sights so I'm waiting for the A.R.M.S. mount to come in so I can mount it on the carrying handle."

NO NO NO

Take that carry handle off, get a back up iron sight, mount the EoTech directly on the flattop like it is meant to be.
If you put the EoTech on top of the carry handle, how ya gonna sight thru it and have a decent cheeck weld ?????

Just trying to help you out here man....not trying to rag on you.
If I read your post right, it sounds like you put the EoTech on the
railed handguard...another NO NO on a non free floated setup.
Even though the Surefire locks up solid it isn't meant to have optics mounted on it.

I've built a few ;)

Chin weld, sheesh

Anyways, how do you like the MIAD? I've been meaning to pick up the Basic kit... With the conventional A2 grip I can rest the trigger in the crook of my second joint on my finger :)

I tried it like the one in your pic Mike but I did not like the front iron sight in the view. So thats why I ordered the A.R.M.S. mount for the handle.

Before you stick it on your carry handle, you really should try a riser of some kind, like the LaRue, or the YHM if you're on a budget.

I need you to let me know if you want to purchase my XD40 tommorow? I sent you an email and you did not respond to my question.

Nice! But I have to agree with the earlier poster...I don't like the optic mounted on the carry handle. My Aimpoint sits on a Larue Quick Release mount that rides the rail. And in perfect cowitness with the front sight.

Absolutely try to a lower 3rd co-witness if you are having issues with an absolute co-witness... or just send me your EOT and I'll put it to fine use :) Might even trade ya my AimPoint :)

I would be careful dealing with this guy. He left me high and dry. I held my XD40 for him since July 5 and I just heard from him today after many messages. And the local guy that made me a descent offer awhile back bought another gun already.

So put it back up for sale
