Just send me your money and I'll buy it for you. I'll have to keep it in the safe for you, I'll shoot it too just to make sure it functions at least once a week....maybe more.....

I could be wrong, but in California I don't think you buy an Ar-15. If memory serves a LEO I know in southern California told me that.
G
thanks for your reply.i`ve seen a couple ca. legal ar15 online(bushmaster,vulcan,fab10 and the list goes on and on).i was just seeing what brands were good to buy and cost wise also.
G
I don't own one YET, but all my friends have Bushmasters.
G
I would go with the kel-tec. Its a good gun.
G
all Cali legal AR's have fixed 10 round magazines, so i would say kel tec or M1A!!
G
thanks for the replies.i think i`ll be looking into getting a keltec su16ca.so are the magazines detachable?

I would get the keltec if cost is the deciding factor. However if you
have standard capacity mags I would build a non-pistol grip AR with
an off list lower. The AR is a much better weapon IMHO. Go to
http://www.calguns.net join the forum and they can steer you
in the right direction. As for suppliers who will hook up up with lowers
and willing FFL`s try www.coldwarshooters.com or www.ddsranch.com

Not so. If you have no flash hider, pistolgrip or collapsable stock you
can use detachable mags.

Sounds like buying a Corvette with a lawn mower engine it it

I moved out of Calicornia in 1990 and never looked back. My XD has a 16 round mag and some of my rifle mags hold 40 rounds :p

So basically you got to gay up your rifle beyond all reason in order to have a detachable magazine.

THANK GOD I DONT LIVE IN CALIFORNIA.

I have yet to see a AR with a non pistol grip stock for sale in california maybe its just the gun shops around me but i have only seen the internal 10 rounders.

I still say get a M1A =)

Step 1: Move to a free country. You know, like the U.S.
Step 2: Exercise your freedom from California tyranny by buying the AR15 you want, instead of settling.

Non of the shops will not sell any AR style weapons with detachable mags.
Most will not sell any AR style weapons at all in my area.

I agree M1A would be an excellent choice if your only going to get 10rds.

Wow, I'd heard about those but now I've seen one...... what a waste of an AR.

Get the M1A, it's an awesome rifle and gets you around the 10 rnd restriction.
