it's a stag 2ht upper. i wasn't sure if i liked it at first but after seeing it in a local shop, i thought it looked really clean and much better than similar uppers by other manufacturers.

i ended up buying from http://www.lanworldinc.com. They carried it for $625 which was $70 cheaper than anywhere else i could find. At any rate, i'm from Cali and this is a huge deal for me. it's like buying 3 XD's all at once (with the 30 day wait in CA, i'll never get to feel that).

By the way, if you have one of these, can you give me your thougts on EOTech or Aimpoint? i can't decide cuz i really like both.

thanks

I currently use the EOtech and have use Aimpoints a great deal. They are both very durable and dependable, I sold the aimpoints and kept the EOtech. The problem I had with the AimPoint is it was basically like using a rifle scope with no magnification, The batteries were not as available as the AAs my EOthing takes. The EOtech was much more heads up and offered me a much better field of view , as well the reticle was much better and It didn't floats in the screen making using it in strange positions much easier. After having both and using both, I will not buy another Aimpoint but I will gladly buy another EOtech, both are proven performers.

With the current scope offerings available now I would look it to a variable powered illuminated scope. A scope that is variable from about 1x-2x and up to about 4x-6x is IMO the best option available now offering both short range DOT and long range magnification.
