I guess to say it is a possible copy is a little off, it seems (w/o seeing it) that is exactly like it except for the reticle.

But these really are very different from the millett dms. The bushnell is 1-4x24 just like the dms and has an illuminated reticle. While it is close to the Bushnells shown, it is a new optic from them it appears.

How is Bushnell quality these days? SWFA had it for 99 bucks, sounds like a good deal-
I think Bushnell is pretty good, possibly better than Millett. I am very interested to see this new optic from them. If it is decent quality, it may be much better than the Millett.

If I can't get ahold of a Millett DMS, I may have to try one of these out for myself. It certainly has a good price.

The Bushnell Euro Diamonds are not cheap as they go for about $500 but as far as quality goes, I put them right up there with the best of them. I got to compare next one to my Leupold and glass was better! My Leupold ran me $1000.

The Millet is in a class of it's own. At only $200, it is just as good as an IOR that goes for about $800.

Oh hell yes... That, to me, sounds like a much better idea for a reticle for a 1-4x scope than the ridiculously thick Millett donut...
Do you have a DMS-1? I ask because I've heard a lot of people claiming the donut recticle on the DMS-1 is thick, but looking through the scope, it doesn't seem that big at all (to me).

Anyway, regarding the original topic... I have a few Bushnell Elite scopes, and they are fantastic. Especially considering the price.

Dont own any, but I've looked through em... I understand the idea behind the donut (like the 65 MOA ring on the EOTech reticle). I'm just really put off by its thickness, and find it distracting while looking through the scope. Believe me, for its price, I'd love to love it...

I just called Midway to see if there was any update on when they anticipate getting this scope in. I just may have to try one out. Bushnell makes good products and this is a hell of a price. I am also looking at getting the Bushnell Banner 1-4x32. It has good reviews, but it doesn't have an illuminated reticle, which I don't know that I really need anyway, especially shooting in the bright AZ sun.

Love how folks think this is a Millet knock off .. guess we're forgetting that the style of optic has been around for a long while.. IOR, S&B, NightForce, Leupold and about 5 or six other major vendors have had an iteration or three for a while (10+ years?).

Still nice to see another entry into the lower end of the market, I'm pretty happy with my Elite 3200's, but I'll have to wait to fondle one.

I like the Millet donut with one moa dot in the middle.

I think the 4A reticle would be slower for fast aquisition and 3 Gun type shooting.

I have no issues shooting at 100+ yards offhand with the current reticle.

Of course the upside down horshoe that they have been discussing over at arfcom sounds like the best of both worlds for a DMS type scope.

I do, and even my terrible vision has no problem with it.
