So I want to clean up a surplus Colt upper I bought.

This going to be a range gun so it doesn't need to be able to withstand my l33t mall ninja moves.

What do you guys recommend to have it match a new stock lower?

Alumihyde
Alumihyde II
Krylon
Duracoat
Guncoat
Other?

It's all about the Krylon baby .. really though, if you're going to Krylon it correctly and have the finish hold, it takes as long if not longer than the others. You just don't have to bake it and it's a ton easier to touch up... but it would also mean painting your purdy new lower :)
