I found a dealer that can provide me with a Rock River Lower Parts Kit with a NM 2-stage trigger for $140 shipped. Does anyone else know where I can find a better price or does this seem to be pretty much bottom line?

Pete at AR15SALES.COM might beat that.. if not check the Equipment Exchange over at ARFCOM. The price seems a bit high to me.

AR15sales.com is actually where I got that quote from.

Opinions? He tries to lead people to think this is the RRA 2-stage trigger for $85. I have his phone number and am thinking of giving him a call tomorrow.

The only way to really know is to call him. Pete is an honest, stand up guy. He can not tell on the Intrawebs who the maker is. Although he can tell you on the phone.

I have known Pete for a few years and have bought my last 5 AR lowers, BBLs, etc. from him. Never thought twice. Had some pins in a LPK that were a wee but too big and he sent me a new kit free and said to just return the other stuff next time I pick up a lower.

Pete is absolutely one of the good guys. His customer service and pricing is a bench mark that too many vendors just don't bother to even try to match.

I'd like to think I have had a hand in pointing a few folks to him for everything from parts to full rifles. I tell you what, if you buy the LPK and it isn't what Pete says it is, I'll buy if from you, pay the shipping and add $50 for your troubles.

For those of you who have the 2-stage trigger, is it worth it to pay a little extra for the 2-stage? Or are you pretty content with just a normal parts kit?

this really is one of those personal preference things. I have one on my 20" support rifle. It's a softer pull and break which makes it better served on a longer range rifle for me. I personally like the hard pull of the standard trigger on closer range configurations because the tension and stress of closer quarters shooting generally finds one putting more pressure on the trigger which can lead to unintentional firing.

Is it worth it.. well it is a nicer feel, if that's what you want and given than it's what.. $20 more? Why not? If $20 means too much to you, then I would suggest getting a different caliber rifle.. .223/5.56 is some pricey **** right now and will be for the remainder of TWOT.

Ya i found the site they had made a mistake in the description or most likely i read it wrong hehe 120 for just the trigger group 140 is the cheapest i've seen for the 2stage lpk.
