one more vote for Pete.

I'm getting close to buying an RRA upper/lower and I looked everywhere and no one had prices lower then him.

That's pretty hawt!

Would this kind of project be an advisable one for someone like me who's only ever field stripped a few handguns/rifles -- or is assembling one of these kits more like real gunsmith work?

You wouldn't have a problem at all. Putting the lower together is a snap, and the upper comes preassembled (and headspaced). Heres how its done:

Welcome to the disease

So no, you won't have any more spare change... movie nights (at an actual theater), you'll start shopping harder for cheap gas, and the Equipment Exchange at ARFCOM will become your start page :)

Yup, welcome to it bro... Pete's just the best pusher out there
