I'm looking for a side charging AR upper for a 3-gun build. The problem is, I'm only finding a couple people who make them. I know there has to be more than the two or three places I've found.

My guess is he means the charging/operating handle. Imagine something like an AK47 where the operating handle is mounted on the side.

I think DPMS use to make one, if not them someone else did, but it was a left side charging handle set up more like a FAL charging handle. Now you got me thinking I need to find one of these to put on my new lower.

i'm in the process of another project, and this might be something i'd want to look into. maybe something like a gas pistion side charging upper... hmmmm:evil:

After a long search, I settled on the Alexander Arms side charger. I just placed the order, so I'll let you all know how it works when it gets here.

I placed my order yesterday with AA and requested M4 feed ramp cuts. They emailed me to let me know that M4 cuts aren't available on that upper, which is ironic since all of their barrels have the M4 cuts.

So now it's back to the drawing board.
