Sayeret - special forces rifle sling

http://www.zahal.org/rifle/p6.htm

Anyone seen or bought this kind of sling before? What is so different about this sling than the USGI sling? The company looks like a real deal Israeli company but not sure if I would end up getting a "made in China" sling for $19 plus shipping or not.

Just has a quick release thats all.

I would look at a 3 Point sling from Eagle Industries, Tactical Tailor or CQB Solutions (I know they changed there name, whats it called again?)

You can find them online at tactical retailers for about the same price as that sling.

The picture look like the sling was attached to the barrel via some kind of rope, that can't be a good thing with a red hot barrel. Special Forces you say...????

Check out the new vickers sling.I didn't look at the link you posted, but it's probably the idf sling and it attaches to the front sight post with para cord. They're good slings. The vickers is similar, but has a quick adjust and doesn't attach w/paracord.
I just checked the psot, they have it attached incorrectly,it goes on the fsb post.

Ha ha that's what the website says, Sayeret special force. Don't have no clue what sayeret means, probably some special unit of theirs. Like kart racer says it looks like para cord that is connecting the sling to the gun. Now that does beg the question of why using a sling that has to be tied to the gun with the para cord, seems too complicated to be useful to me.

Thanks Steve, bookmarked the site. With all honesty I most likely won't have the need for a 3 point sling; it's not like I have to carry rifle for a living. Having said that, one can never get too much info on gun accessory though!
