Well folks, it's finally here. Back in Nov I decided to treat myself and ordered a pro elite series package from RRA. I was told I had to wait 6-8 weeks for the gun. It took them 10 weeks, but oh my, it was worth the wait. First pic is from RRA's site and the other 2 are of My baby.

Once it stops snowing and I can do some shooting I'll post a range report and hopefully some better pics.

Freaking sick looking rifle! I'm jealous, if I can just get through this upcoming wedding and honeymoon thing, perhaps I can finish my 2 RRA builds!:(
G
if there was a magazine with just pictures of guns and stuff that one should be the center fold.

VERY SEXY!!!

i just started my "AR fund", so far i've saved 9 bucks!! haha
G
Very very nice! Congrats!
G
how much did it set you back?
G
List price on RRA's site is $2,880
G
Congrats on the rifle. I just completed my RRA Carbine and I love it!
G
Ton of aftermarket mods on it.. Let us know how it shoots. Congrats.

Nice AR

I have a RRA I got about a year ago. They have a great trigger. It is a great AR I think they are about the best factory AR out. I put an EoTech on Mine and a M3X Tac Light.

It rocks I tried my first varmit stand with it today and took a nice coyote on the run. A couple of my hinting buddies want one now.
G
oh my....that's purty
G
That is one mean looking AR!!
G
Wow. That's a nice looking EBR. You are totally ready for combat.
G
Well, I hope I never need it for combat, but if so this is the one I'm grabbing.
My first Ar started out as a bare bones olympic arms pre ban shorty that I picked up right after the AWB. I "pimped" it out as much as I had a desire, and built myself another AR; in a full sized m-16a-2 format (minus the 3 shot burst). I really am/was pleased with my 2 AR's but I had heard a lot about rock river arms and how many said they were the best out of the box AR's on the market, so I thought I'd give them a shot.
Starting out I was planing to buy a new trigger group and a new rra upper for my shorty, but I noticed the pro ELITE series on RRA website and thought; " if I sell my full sized AR and do some saving I can swing this". After selling my built AR and saving for a butt load of time I finally ordered my baby. Weather or not it was worth the money or not remains to be seen; with all the crappyweather we have had lately I haven't had a chance to take her out, but when I do, I'll let yoyu know if it was worthm what I paid or not.
So far, as the magic 8 ball says, "all signs point to yes". The upper and lower fit together with little to no slop, and the bolt sounds like it's moving on ball bearings when I hand cycle it.
Ah well, I hope she shoots as well as I expect, but time will tell.

It will.. and if you find yourself unhappy with your RRA, let me know.. I'll give you a fair price for it... say... $100? :)

You'll have to tell us if buying it all put together is worth more than just parting it yourself.
G
10 weeks!....i am on 3.5 right now its killing me
G
VERY NICE! If you would like, it's not snowing down here.....you could twist my arm and I would RELUCTANTLY break it in for you.
