No market to sell them means they new barrels won't be made. 1-9" shoots light bullets well enough for that twist rate to be well represented.

unless you're wanting to shoot very lightweight bullets, the faster twist rates work better at stablizing most common weights.1:14 is a slow twist.

the ar15 started life with a 1/14 twist but was quickly changed to 1/12 when it wouldn't stabilize a 55 grain bullet in COLD weather. The 1/14 did create a spectacular wound channel though ;)

I had an old 1/14 barrel on an old AR in high school. I didn't know it at the time but I was curious at the fantastic damage that little round caused on medium game animals.
