Been wanting to build a new MSR, and a LGS has Noveske Chainsaw lowers in stock for $189. I would think Noveske seconds are probably better than most companies first hand stuff, but just wanted to hear some reviews before I go pick up one or two?

They are fully functional, and may only be seconds because of a finish flaw or other minor detail.

They are "tools" that are designed to be used and used hard, not show pieces. That is why they called them "Chainsaws".

I had one and the only thing i could find on it was a small blem under the trigger gaurd. Just a discolored spot in the finish.
Fit and function was top notch. mated to 2 different bcm uppers with no issues.
Buy with confidence, you wont regret it.

They are billet not forged
Actually they are forged ... They have a billet look though

I finally picked mine up yesterday and the finish is actually fantastic just has a very small blemish on the magwell.

The gen 2 lowers are very hard to find ... The chainsaws sell for roughly $400+ on gun broker ... OP that's an awesome price for them I would buy whatever stock he had left
